Product Safety & Compliance (GSPR) Information

As a small shop, I care about both the quality of the products and your safety! Each item is carefully designed, handmade, and packaged with attention to detail.

Kukupin follows the guidelines set out by the General Product Safety Regulation (GSPR) in the EU to ensure our products meet safety standards regarding materials, labeling, and appropriate use.

Below, you’ll find product-specific safety and material information for each category we offer.

Product Information

Stickers

Materials: Weatherproof vinyl or paper-based sticker material, eco-solvent inks

Coating: Some designs are laminated for extra durability

Safety:

  • Not suitable for children under 3 years (choking hazard)
  • Non-toxic inks, but not intended for oral contact
    Surface-safe on most laptops, notebooks, and water bottles.


Use: Decorative purposes only

Buttons (Badge Pins)

Materials: Metal front, plastic or metal backing with safety pin clasp

Size: 25mm – 58mm

Safety:

  • Contains sharp pin – not suitable for children under 14.
  • Avoid wearing on loose fabrics during high activity


    Use: Fashion and decoration (bags, jackets, hats)

Acrylic Pins

Materials: Recycled or regular acrylic, UV-printed design, rubber or metal clutch

Safety:

  • Small parts – not for children under 14.
  • Not intended for oral use.
  • Acrylic may crack if dropped.
  • Contains sharp pin – not suitable for children under 14.


    Use: Decorative accessory for bags, clothes, or pin boards

Prints

Materials: Matte or semi-gloss paper, printed with archival-quality inks

Sizes: A6 – A4 (varies per product)

Safety:

  • Paper edges may be sharp – handle with care.
  • Keep away from water unless framed


    Use: Wall or desk decoration

Notepads & Memo Pads

Materials: FSC-certified or recycled paper, eco-safe glue binding

Sizes: A7 – A5 (varies)

Safety:

  • Paper product – not intended for small children.
  • Not water-resistant.

    Use: Writing, journaling, planning, or note-taking

Totebags

Materials: Poly-cotton blend (Polyester/Cotton), eco-friendly inks, reinforced stitching.

Sizes: Standard (approx. 38cm x 42cm) with long handles.

Safety:

  • Suffocation Hazard: Keep any plastic packaging away from babies and children.
  • Strangulation Hazard: Long straps; not intended for use by children under 3 years old without supervision.
  • Fire Safety: Keep away from open flames. Note: Synthetic fibers can melt when exposed to high heat.

Use & Care:

Designed for carrying groceries, books, or everyday essentials! :D

Weight Limit: Recommended maximum load of 8–10kg.

Washing: Machine washable on a cool, gentle cycle or hand wash.

Ironing: If needed, iron on a low setting on the reverse side to protect the print.

General Notes

Kukupin products are not toys and are intended for teens and adults (14+) unless otherwise stated.

We use non-toxic, durable materials whenever possible.

Please keep all small items away from children under 3 years of age due to choking hazards.

All packaging is minimal and recyclable where possible, in line with EU environmental and safety regulations.
